Drums

At Manitoba Buckskin, we are pleased to provide top quality hand made drum materials.  Solid red oak (non laminated) round hand drum frames are available in three sizes: 12", 14", and 17" diameter.  Hand drum frames individually are $30., $40. and $48. each, respectively. These hand drum frames are manufactured in house by Manitoba Buckskin from start to finish. Select red oak lumber is cut down to 3/8" x 2-1/2" thickness, steamed and formed into drum circles, and sanded smooth on all sides. The result is a strong, solid drum frame that will last for years.  Larger powwow drum frames are built by custom order only. These are solid hardwood heavy duty drum frames made without metal fasteners: using mortise and tenon joints and dowels. All of our drum frames are covered by a "repair or replace" policy. 

Drum Kits

Drum kits are prepared as complete "ready to assemble" sets. Each kit includes: - solid red oak round frame - rawhide round drum head cover with pre-cut lacing holes - rawhide lacing - drumstick with smoked buckskin head and oak handle - complete instructions. Kits are available in three sizes: 12", 14", 17" diameter: $80., $115., and $130. respectively.
