Skulls and Mounts

We clean skulls of all shapes and sizes. The skulls are very well cared for and cleaned using natural processes. The skulls are not boiled or chemically treated to clean the bones. The skull bones are kept intact and secure during the cleaning process. Bleach or peroxide is used on request to whiten the cleaned skulls. A clear coat finish is added to these to protect the bones from discolouration, and to seal the bone material.  Prices vary depending on size and species, in general, cleaning fees range from $50. - $150.

Antler skull mounts, or European mounts, are available for any species of antlered animal. These skulls are cleaned as above, and the skull is carefully cut lengthwise and mounted flat on a solid oak plaque. Wood mounting plaques can be stained as requested. Skull mounts range from $150. - $200. depending on size and species.
